About Goodfolk

Our Mission

Goodfolk helps people connect through shared outdoor activities and local events. We build tools that make it easy for neighbors, friends, and communities to organize hikes, rides, paddles, climbs, meetups, and everything in between — then actually show up and do them together.

What We Offer

• Groups. Create or join groups built around shared interests, locations, or activity styles. Invite friends, share updates, and coordinate through group chat.
• Events. Post upcoming activities with a date, place, and plan. Members can RSVP, ask questions in event chat, and follow along with real-time updates.
• Discovery. Find public groups and events near you on our Discover page, and connect with organizers running activities in your area.
• Safety-minded organizing. Optional trip-safety features give event organizers the tools they need to run responsible outdoor events, including emergency contact handling and check-in workflows.

The Company

Goodfolk is built and operated by Goodfolk LLC, an independent software company based in Colorado. We are a small, user-funded team focused on building durable tools for real communities.

We believe the best outdoor and community experiences happen offline. Our job is to make getting there as simple as possible.
